Lyric The ebon goddess floated effortlessly through the trees, each movement filled with grace as her hips swayed, not too much, but enough that it was noticable. Yes, she was totally flaunting it. But she looked damn good doing it, didn't she? A smile curved on her delicate Arabian features at her smart thought. This pretty little thing may look it, but delicate was definitley not a word to describe her. Unless you wanted her to be that way. Then she would be so delicate you'd be afraid to touch her. Lyric had a talent when it came to acting; it only took her a few minutes to figure you out, and then she'd have you wrapped around her finger so tightly there would be no way out. Not that anyone would want to get out. After all, she could turn herself into anything you wanted. And more.
Lyric had gotten out of the hellhole she was living in before this because it was boring to keep hunting the same easy prey. She had heard of the alliances here; apparently, there were other devious darks in the area, and she was ready for a challenge. No, she wasn't a fucking coward who needed thousands of petty equines to back her up on everything. Some enemies was what she was looking for; some equines she would really have to work on. The only way she would ever get allies was if they were better than her or just as good. Well, even if they were as good as her, she wouldn't be fully satisfied. And being better than her was pretty much impossible, right? Damn straight. A chuckle rose from her larynx as she sped her pace to a trot.
The stench of swamp reached her delicate nares, and she snorted with distaste. She hated walking through this crap to get to her destination. However, she had been to Crimson Plateau before, and knew there was no other way through. With a dirty look on her face, she made her way through, searching for spots that were less mucky through the swamp. As soon as she reached the clearing, she retreated to the shadows where there was a small pond for her to clean up in. There was no way she could go flirt looking like this. When her coat was fully clean, she walked out from the shadows, loving the way her glossy black coat glinted and shone in the sunlight. A flirty, almost smug smile rested on her kissers, and she immediatley got her hips swaying as she sauntered to an edge, absentmindedly kicking stones and bones over the edge of the plateau. Her eyes were sharp like a hawk's as she looked for suitable prey, her unique violet orbs almost piercing. Come on, bastards and bitches alike. I'm here to play.

Deception all I see is murder murder, my mind state makes it too late for cops in tryin' to stop the crime rate Shadows casted their darkness upon the ground under each and every tree. The ebony lord made sure that he remained within the darkness as he moved carelessly through the trees. The Crimson Plateau was just one of the random places that he liked to hang out at. Not because the lights rarely came here, but because he could spy on the rest of the darks without them noticing. The mere thought of what he always came here to do caused him to smirk. Though, something seemed to catch his attention right away. The sway of a mare's hips mesmerized him as he came to a standstill. The dark brown eyes of the beast continued to watch the mare, until she seemed to slip into the darkness as well. Without thinking, he turned his form further into the shadows. His hooves leading him after the mare, but remained careful not to step on anything that would give him away. Just from the mere sight of her hips, he knew she was a beautiful mare. He could also tell that she loved to flaunt what her mother gave her. The ebony tail of the lord flicked from side to side carefully, though not a sound could be heard from it. Now, the stallion might not have had a herd yet, but he planned on claiming one of the dark lands for himself. Why? Because he believed he was one of the best rulers around. Of course, that was merely just in his head. Any stallion or mare could be a great ruler. But, it takes strength and determination to follow through with it. He had seen many rise to be a leader, and most had failed. Though, his father, of course, had been a great leader. So, he figured it was only his blood to be a great ruler, himself. His thoughts seemed to be racing as he made his way carefully after the mare. A mare, he wished to claim as his own. Of course, he didn't believe in love. Not after what happened before. He had given his heart to another once, but never planned to do it again. Walls had been built up around his heart. The only thing he wanted now was mares to carry his offspring, mares that would give him heirs and heiresses to the throne, should he die.
It had merely been a few months after he had turned one, that he had ventured after the lights. Not to join them, of course, but to kill them. After venturing through the forests at an easy pace, his brown gaze had landed upon a mare. Not just any mare, but a mare that he would soon recognize to be his mother. The white of her coat glittered from the sun's rays. Her head was bent as she grazed contently. Unknowing of her soon to be fate, she remained there. The ebony brute in the shadows lurked carefully behind her. Though, it wasn't long before he had surprised her as he came prancing out. Now that the mare had lifted her head and looked at the stallion, recognition lit her face. 'D..Deception,' the lyrics barely made it out of her vocals, before he launched himself at her. Hate and anger lit in his eyes and blinded his hearing from her words. "Tonight, you die. Tomorrow, the rest shall fall to me," he muttered at the mare, anger flaring in his words. With those words said, the mare had turned and tried to run. But, it had been too late. Within mere moments, the mare had fallen, her sides heaving. Deception stood over her, as he glared down at her. 'My s..son, I'm s..sorry t..that he s..set y..you a..against us,' with one last breath, his mother had uttered those words. Her head fell to the ground, as her sides stopped heaving and she stopped breathing. The gaze of his mother glazed over as her life was sucked from her body. Looking down at her, regret and more anger flared within his form. Anger, not at the lights, but at himself. At himself for what he had done. He had taken the very life of the mare that had given him life. The look of the mare stayed within his mind, her words still ringing clearly in his ears. Shaking his head, he stepped away from the body. His gaze quickly turned toward the heavens, as a single tear fell from his eyes. "I'm sorry mother," he muttered, as he took a step away from the body. Quickly, he turned from the light's land and galloped away from the body. The tears having been quickly stopped, as he made his way back onto the lands of the darks.
Shaking his head, he quickly cleared his mind of that memory. The sound of a chuckle having soon reached his ears. His hooves continued to lead the way through the shadows. The stench of the swamp was a horrible smell, but intoxicating to him. He had been here so many times, that it never seemed to bother him anymore. Spying, it was what he loved to do best. Each move the mare made, his eyes followed. Each sound she made, his ears listened. Each scent that passed through the lands, he inhaled, including her own scent. Smirking, he watched as she moved from the shadows. His eyes seemed to narrow as he noticed how her coat glinted and shone in the sunlight. Without thinking or uttering a single word, he stepped from the shadows, himself. His eyes never leaving her form, even as she moved to the edge. The sounds of stones being kicked over the edge of the plateau entered his ears. But, instead of moving towards her, he allowed his form to slither over to the clean water. Quickly, he slipped into the water and submerged himself, before coming back up for air. His form made it's way back towards the edge of the water and he climbed out. The water glinted off of his ebony coat, as he stepped toward the mare. With ease, he cleared his throat, as if to announce his arrival. His form stood a few feet away from her, in case she would dare try to attack. His tail continued to flick back and forth behind him, before coming to a stop, as he waited for her to turn around. "Hello dove," his vocals uttered the words, as he greeted her. The smirk that had been placed on his features earlier, returned. "What's a lovely dove, such as yourself, doing out and about in these lands?" He questioned her. His lyrics almost dripping with venom, yet they remained as cold as ice. Keeping his guard up, he waited for her to answer his question.

You say you're not afraid, but I can read between the lines. The ebon vixen looked below her, not at all fazed by the incredible distance there was between her and the ground. The mountain peaks surrounded her, yet she still stood beyond it all, with the best vantage point of Equine Paradise. If she were a sappy light, she would say that it was the most amazing thing she had ever seen; but being a dark, she didn't give a fuck about views and or breathtaking sights. The only thing she found breathtaking was herself... and the handsome stallion sauntering over to her. With a quick flick of her tail, she turned her attention to him, her violet orbs looking over him several times. He shared her ebon pelt and Arabian heritage, which pleased her. It looked like she wasn't the only one who liked to use the small pond she had discovered, because water dripped from his muscular frame - and he didn't smell like the disgusting swamp.
A smirk came upon her ebon facade as she shook out her charcoal tresses. She could tell by the stallion's body language that he had decided to be cautious for now, but was obviously into her. Well, the last part she guessed, but who wouldn't be into her? A light giggle escaped her maw, almost girly but not too petty so he knew she meant buisness. Velvet harks flicked as the bastard spoke, and she paid attention. "Hello dove," He spoke with a smirk. She returned it with a devil's grin. "What's a lovely dove, such as yourself, doing out and about in these lands?" She was absolutely bursting with confidence as she strode forward, closing the distance between them. "A 'lovely dove' like me has to find things to do with her spare time."
[/b] Slowly, she started to circle him, very delicately brushing him with her velvet maw every few strides. This was her way of analizing him, and showing the brute she was here to play games. "Besides, in these lands, you're the one I'm worried about." She whispered in his ear as she completed her circle and returned to her original spot with a mischevious smile. Sorry it's so short - I just really wanted to get something for you to reply to :/[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Deception all I see is murder murder, my mind state makes it too late for cops in tryin' to stop the crime rate As the vixen turned her attention to him, he came to a halt. A snort escaped, as his dark eyes scanned over her form. He waited as she shook out her charcoal tresses and heard the light giggle that escaped her maw. Though, when he had greeted her and then smirked, he noticed how she returned it with a devil's grin. But, the rest of his words had flowed freely from his vocals not long after the greeting. After he had finished speaking, his eyes narrowed as she moved closer towards him, closing the distance between the two of them. 'A 'lovely dove' like me has to find things to do with her spare time.' He heard the lyrics flow from her vocals, as she started to circle him. The touch of her maw against his form caused a slight shiver to go through his form, but it wasn't all that noticeable. So, she wants to play games.. Well, two can play at that, the though echoed through his mind. His gaze followed her movements, as best as they could. That was, until she moved behind him. 'Besides, in these lands, you're the one I'm worried about.' He heard her whisper in his ear. The thought of her worrying about him almost caused him to snort with laughter, but he managed to hold it in. It wasn't long after she whispered those words, that she had returned to her original spot infront of him. Another snort escaped as he glanced around the two of them, but quickly turned his gaze back towards her. "Worried..about me? Why ever for?" He questioned, his tone husky, as he still tried to recover from the vixen's touch. Within mere seconds, he had managed to compose himself and get over the feel of her touch against his form. Just as she had, he started his own circle around her. As he reached her neck, he smirked and ran his maw along her back. From her neck to her hindquarters. The touch could almost feel like a lover's touch, passionate, yet sinister. As he rounded her hindquarters, he almost felt like nipping her rump, but decided not to. After all, he wouldn't want to scare the pretty little thing away. Now would he? Of course, not. As he rounded to her other side, he neared her head and smirked. "You have no reason to worry about me, dove. You should be the one worried about yourself, with all these stallions around," he whispered in her ear, with a sinister tone. Smirking once more, he moved his way back to his original spot and turned to face her. He had almost felt like asking her to come back with him. Back to his lands; the Crystal Peaks, but he decided against it. It would be better to get to know the vixen before inviting her to his herd.

He made sure it wasn't significant, but she could feel it. That slight shiver than ran down his spine at her touch. He obviously didn't want to seem vulnerable or weak or something of the sort, she believed. So she played it cool. It was so funny, the look on his facade when she commented about being worried about him in these lands. It was like he was about to start laughing as if it was the funniest thing in the world. She smirked. It's always the ones who find that funny that have their worthless skulls ground into the dust. However, that was not her plans for this bad boy. No, he was the first to ever bring even a slight bit of challenge or excitment to her. And of course, he had those very fine looks. Why wouldn't he? He shared the perfect Arabian blood and ebony coat she had. A chuckle came to her because of her own inside joke. "Worried... about me? Why ever for?" Did she really have to answer that? How funny. She was worried because one wrong move and she would have to rip him apart and leave his pretty little corpse to rot in the swamp lands. A small chuckle escaped her as he circled her. How original. His light touches intoxicated her, but she was used to it. She allowed a shiver to escape her; it wasn't like such a movement made her lose, now did it? "You have no reason to worry about me, dove. You should be the one worried about yourself, with all these stallions around,"
Seriously? She snorted. Like those weaklings could take her down. Although she appared calm and almost swooned, she was ready to strike at any given time. She knew he was thinking about nipping her when he hesitated slightly behind her. Sure as hell the bastard wasn't that stupid, was he? Of course not. As he came around her other side, her movement was quick and obviously planned as she nipped at him; not enough to even puncture the skin, but enough to give him a little taste of what she was capable of - and play another little game, of course. "If you knew where I come from, you could just ask around; the stallion's aren't the ones to worry about." Sure, she was getting a bit full of herself, but did it look like she cared? After all, what she was saying was true. There wasn't an equine in some of the places she had stayed at that wasn't scared to death of her. Her violet eyes focused on him as he completed the circle. She was close enough that if he wanted to, he could give her a swift kick; in case he decided to be so stupid, she took a step out of his range. Some stallion's couldn't take a little tease or joke; just had to have the upper hand. They were full of crap, and she hoped this one wasn't the same.

Deception all I see is murder murder, my mind state makes it too late for cops in tryin' to stop the crime rate As he had ran his maw along her form, he had felt the shiver escape her. It had been forever since he had ran his maw along a vixen's form. And even longer since he had felt the touch of a mare upon his own form. When he had spoken to her, he heard the snort that had followed his words. She was a tough mare, from what he could tell, anyways. Though, as he had come around to stand back infront of her, he felt the nip on his form. A snort escaped, as he turned to stare at her. Another game, obviously. It seems mares like to play games, he merely let the thought cross his mind. Though, his thoughts were soon interrupted by her voice. 'If you knew where I come from, you could just ask around; the stallions aren't the ones to worry about.' His ears perked up at her words. "That may be so, where you come from. But, not all stallions are weak, pathetic creatures like the ones from where you came," he muttered, a snort following behind the words. He knew that he had been in range to kick her, if he had felt like it. But, he preferred to keep the mare unmarked. At least, for now. A rather sinister smirk crossed his maw, but quickly vanished when he turned to face her. Realizing that neither of them had stated their names, he raised his head and glared at her. "What is your name, mare? He questioned, his tone raising a few pitches, but still held the venom in each word spoken. To be honest, he didn't feel like announcing his own name, at least, not yet. Not until he knew the name of the witch that liked to play games. It was just how he was.

As the day went on, the Crimson Plateau became quite hot. But it was nothing this Arabian femme couldn't handle. Being an Arabian too, Lyric figured he would have no problem with the heat either. But she would have to wait and see about that. Soon, not many equines were left on the plateau, driven away by the intense summer heat that did not seem to affect her. As he spoke, Lyric gave him a sly smirk. He didn't seem to agree with her about this, but he would when she tore his pretty black flesh apart. If she did, anyways. She usually did, but for some reason she wanted to keep this one for a while. He was the first truely evil stallion she had met, after all. "Honey, they don't have to be weak and pathetic for me to rip them apart. Many of them are strong, mighty idiots. You're the first true bad ass I've come across in my four years of existense."
[/b] Finally, she answered his other rudely asked question. Usually that pissed her off, but she let it slide. "It's Lyric to you."[/b] She did not ask him of his name, not really caring in the first place. He wasn't fucking royalty to her, and so far she didn't really give a shit about him. But that could certainly be subject to change... Word Count;; 228 Muse;; Thought it was good until I saw the word count...
